Art in the Open

5 Lands Art in the Open

There'll be about twenty four artists located along the route from Avoca Beach, North Avoca and Terrigal Beach promenade.

You'll be able to meet and talk to some of Australia's greatest artists (who happen to be Central Coast locals) as they paint outdoors, or "Art in the Open".

Watch them as they interpret the land and seascapes, on the spot!

Creating art in the open air has a long and rich artistic tradition. On the day of the 5 Lands Walk there'll be about 30 artists located along the route from MacMasters Beach, all the way to Terrigal.

We call it the 5 Lands Art in the Open.

You'll be able to meet and talk to some great Australian artists (many who happen to be Central Coast locals) as they create in the open, on the day of the 5 Lands Walk. Watch them as they interpret the land and seascapes, on the spot! Go ahead and chat to them about what they see and how they interpret that in their open air art creation. It's outdoor art action, live and unexpurgated!

Later in the year, the art produced during the day and art inspired by the day will be put on exhibition.
